Meet Emily!
I’m passionate about helping women overcome hormone challenges, achieve symptom-free periods, and build a healthier relationship with food. My own hormone health journey began in 2019 when I found myself struggling with hormonal imbalances in all the wrong ways. Despite my love for food and health, I believed I was doing everything right. But in reality, I was far from it! I thought that eating oatmeal and salad every day was a “healthy” choice, that spending money on overpriced supplements would magically fix my issues, and that pushing myself through five HIIT workouts a week would help me achieve my dream body.
But the reality was much different. I felt constantly frustrated, fatigued, and chronically inflamed. My cycle became irregular and painfully inconsistent. Anxiety took hold, and I found myself feeling like the worst version of myself. Ironically, my relationship with food deteriorated as I tried to get healthier. I knew I couldn’t go on feeling like this. I was afraid of food, overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice, and desperate for a change.
This is when I decided to take control of my health. I studied Nutrition to learn how to nourish my body the right way—using food as fuel rather than seeing it as the enemy. Now, I help other women do the same: find balance, understand their bodies, and thrive in their hormone health.
While studying at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition, in Vancouver, Canada, my eyes were opened to a whole new world of nutrition. I began working in a Naturopathic Clinic along two renowned Naturopathic Doctors who specialized in hormone health and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). The knowledge and experienced I gained in the three years alongside the Doctors was invaluable and increased my knowledge on the subject hugely.
Today, I help women everyday overcome their health and hormone challenges using my holistic approach to health and nutrition. I don’t use a one size fits all or cookie cutter approach, each person is made to feel truly seen, safe and understood while in my Signature Hormone Harmony Program. I have been helping women meet themselves where they are, set reachable and realistic health goals, overcome hormonal issues and ditch the food fear and diet culture mindset. I help you navigate the overwhelming world of nutrition and wellness. I am also constantly evolving in my knowledge and in my practice, keeping up to date with the latest developments in nutrition research.
Fun Stuff
When I’m not working you’ll find me exploring the West Coast of Ireland, in search of new hikes and cute coffee shops!
If I’m outside I’m walking, hiking, kayaking, swimming, or playing with my doggo!
Otherwise, I guarantee you’ll find me either in the kitchen baking some healthy treats, reading a crime novel, or indulging in my favourite mindful practices, usually enjoying a cup of cacao and meditating!
